A typical day for your child will mostly involve plenty of time for supervised play that encourages creativity, sharing and learning. We can discuss as often as you like what kinds of games and learning your child is interested in, and what it is they seem to really enjoy. I will be happy to incorporate these into their days with me!
Above all, I look to make sure your child has fun and enjoys their day.
The following are an example of just some of the activities I like to encourage with the children:
- * Playing with toys both indoors and outside
- * Listening to music and singing along
- * Looking at pictures and encouraging imagination
- * Painting, drawing and crafts
- * Occasional watching of DVDs ( cartoons, nature & animals )
- * Regular story times throughout the day
- * Counting and reading ( according to age )
If your child is potty training, I will be glad to discuss this with you and help however I can in this matter. I do ask that parents of younger children provide a supply of nappies and wipes, as preferences can vary.

Depending on the length of your child's day, it will likely be necessary to incorporate a nap into the schedule. I recommend that you provide a simple blanket and pillow for this, to help them feel cozy and extra comfortable during this time.
It is normal for children to become attached to certain toys or items. If your child would like to bring anything with them for the day, this will be fine.
